Snow Removal and Plowing Update

After heavy storms, snow removal and plowing become a top priority. Our schedule focuses on clearing significant snow as quickly as possible to make roads safe and passable. However, certain weather conditions or limited manpower may cause unavoidable delays. Following the main roads, the focus is shifted to the sidewalks, starting around the schools. After plowing is complete, Public Works transitions into the snow removal phase, as there is no remaining space to push the snow.

Parking bans are essential to support efficient snow-clearing efforts, allowing us to use resources more effectively and improve road safety. Please note that complete snow removal may not always be immediate, as follow-up operations are often necessary after heavy storms. Public Works will continue to follow a phased approach to plowing and snow removal throughout the season.

Driveway Snow Responsibility

During plowing operations, snow may be pushed back onto driveway entrances as part of the roadway clearing process. We understand this can be frustrating; however, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to clear this snow. Plow operators must prioritize keeping public roads safe and accessible for the entire community. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Thank you for your patience and support this winter.
