AS OF AUGUST 1, 2018 WE ARE GOING LIVE WITH ALL BOATS, ATVS & SNOWMOBILE REGISTRATIONS
WE NO LONGER PROCESS NON-RESIDENTS FOR ABOVE
GOING FORWARD WE WILL NEED AT TIME OF RE-REGISTRATION EITHER THE REGISTRATION OR THE MAINE REGISTRATION NUMBER
THERE ARE “NO” EXCEPTIONS TO THIS REQUIREMENT PER INLAND FISHERIES
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO DO A NEW REGISTRATION:
- PROOF OF RESIDENCY (LICENSE, VOTER REGISTRATION, FILING OF MAINE INCOME TAX)
- COMPLETE BILL OF SALE FROM SELLER TO OWNER (MUST CONTAIN SELLERS NAME, YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, VIN #, TO WHOM THEIR SELLING RECREATIONAL VEHICLE TO, PURCHASE PRICE, DATE AND SELLER SIGNATURE)
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD USE POLICY
- WHEN USING A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD YOU MUST BE THE PERSON THAT IS LISTED ON THE CARD
- USE OF CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS IN A COMPANY NAME WILL REQUIRE A LETTER OF PERMISSION FROM THE COMPANY ON THIER LETTERHEAD (UNLESS YOU ARE THE OWNER OF COMPANY)
- THIS IS A SECURITY PROCESS FOR CARDHOLDER PROTECTION AGAINST CARD THEFT AND OR UNAUTHORIZED USE
- THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED WHEN USING THE CREDIT/DEBIT CARD IN OFFICE
